I'm going to write to you about JAM's activities during the passes year.JAM have been pruducing Art Miles Mural in our own way, as I told you before, we have been trying to introduce our project to schools and let it go in a course of education, that is as a part of regular lessons.
The whole last year was a trial one for us and now I can say we can do it pretty well.
The Education Ministry of Goverment want to promote international understanding more in school education, then I've insisted Art Miles Mural Project is a very practical and effectiven way for it here and there! And many teachers and people related with education seem to agree with me these days.
Art Miles Mural Project is effective to develop children's ability of
thinking, judging, expressing themselves. To deepen and widen their thinking by discussing important problems in a group.In other words
It is a very possitive activity, tranfering learning=input to expressing=output.And besides the effect is very clear and visible, in a shape of picture.

We JAM have three projects,
1. Painting a mural in one class of a domestic school
2. Painting a mural in collaborating with a school abroad- Promoting children's international exchanging and understanding
3. Art Miles shoes Project

Now let me tell you about shoes.I succeeded in connect a participant school with facilities in the northern Uganda called Smile House, where Japanese staff support child mothers by giving them vocationaltraining in order to make them independent.Their office(NGO) is in Japan and they helpe us to carry the shoes to and I gathered money for it.

Now JAM is gradually being known by its name and I expect, if we can get a big prize in the context in a few weeks, we will be able to move forward our wheels strongly.

I'm proud of myself being a part of this meaningful project, Joanne.Meeting you has being changing me.
