The
year 2005 marked Crossroads International's 10th Anniversary. Traveling
to Hong Kong and participating in this event, renewed The Art Miles Mural
Project's spirituality and determination. It was the Crossroads Team and
family and friends that came from all parts of the world to volunteer
their time and to commemorate the incredible work being done by this 100%
volunteer organization. As if that weren't enough, more than 71 murals
were completed by many Hong Kong schools and the photos and memories from
that marathon will last forever! The Art Miles Mural Project and Crossroads
International have become "forever friends" and colleagues in
promoting peace and global harmony world wide. MANY THANKS AND MUCH LOVE
to special people like "Liz the Whiz", the Mottee's, BJ, Paul,
Lin, Kathi Kruse, and our talented and beautiful new Peace Paint Ambassador--Julia
from Ghana. It was also a privilege to have been able to visit with Atsuko
( Japan Art Miles Director), and Yazu! What a treat...and the beautiful
Nagasaki Guernica was there to share with the 1,075 children from Hong
Kong. The Begbie's are living angels on this earth and introduced us to
Mr. Livingston from UGANDA, and to so many wonderful people in Hong Kong.
If you ever have a chance to visit Crossroad's International, you will
believe you have slipped into a little bit of heaven and that you have
been encircled by Blessed and warm loving people. When you leave, you
will carry this feeling with you forever, quietly folded and blanketed
in your heart--for THEY will stay with you. Crossroad's International
is one of the finest NGO's we have ever collaborated with and feel incredibly
fortunate to have done so. Big hugs to Malcolm and Sallie Begbie and to
the Crossroads Team and here's to the next 10 years!!! To see beautiful
