We
are proud that Atsuko and Yasu (Japan) and Mali (Canada) have initiated
and implemented the formalization of a classroom curriculum for Art Miles
in such a special way. We also encourage the continuation of international
intercultural exchanges with other groups in all countries that may not
have access to computers as we have always done, as our way of being inclusive.
Be sure to look for other Art Miles developing programs based on our motto
that "Art Miles recognizes the power of the arts to move and educate
people," As 2010 approaches, please remember that the Exhibition
of the Century is a commemorative event for the closing year of the International
Decade for a Culture of Peace. Art Miles has gone through a natural evolution
and has become a "movement" that will continue in support of
the Decade for Sustainable Education and Culture, the Millennium Development
Goals, Convention on the Rights of the Child and Universal Declaration
of Human Rights.
