Art Miles Ambassador Ally Woodard In Haiti Julay 2010

I am in Haiti having an amazing trip as the Art Miles Mural Project Ambassador and Art Miles Shoes of Hope Ambassador. I was able to speak to the children here at 3 events this past weekend, and performed singing and dancing for them. There will be more events this coming weekend. They really liked the Disney song Part of Your World from The Little Mermaid. I am going to attach just a few pictures and will write more later.

Thank you everyone for your generous support. Everything we brought here is going to good use. Haiti is really poor, so they really needed everything we brought, including the art supplies, the murals and the Shoes of Hope that were painted by a lot of you at Butler, at Northwest Florida State College and at Art Quest in Seaside.

I really miss home, but the people here are desperate for anyone that can bring them a little happiness, even if it is just for a day. It is hard for me to describe the sadness and fear they have after the earthquake.
 
 
This is a great trip and I love meeting all the children. Today I visited the hospital and gave out a few toys. I also worked in the supply room doing inventory. It was really cool.

My most favorite thing that has happened to me so far is this little girl at the second event who came over to me and grabbed my arm and held on all day.
